Who We Are
The Uganda Private Security Association (TUPSA) is the umbrella body for over 250 private security companies in Uganda, representing a vibrant industry employing between 40,000 to 60,000 personnel. TUPSA is dedicated to advocacy, training, regulatory support, and lobbying to enhance the private security sector’s role in safeguarding lives and property. We collaborate closely with the Uganda Police Force to ensure high industry standards and provide specialized training programs that equip our personnel with the skills needed to tackle various security challenges.
Our Mission & Vision
Our efforts in lobbying and regulatory support aim to create a conducive environment for both local and foreign investors, making the private security sector one of Uganda’s largest contributors to employment and economic growth.
TUPSA looks to become an associate member of the Southern Africa Security Officers Board and develops a similar organization for East Africa;
