On behalf of the Uganda Private Security Association, I welcome Members and Stakeholders of the private security sector in Uganda and across the borders to follow our Website, www.tupsauganda.com .
The website forms the basis of engagement within the sector and the wider public as we strive to secure the World.
The private security organizations operate within the law, to provide quality services to clients, ensure that all necessary licenses, approvals, or authorizations for carrying out private security business are duly obtained.
It is indeed gratifying that members of the private security organizations are moving in that direction by putting in place tools such as this website to enhance self-regulation with the aim of improving on the quality of service we offer to our clients and compliance with the necessary statutory obligations.
This website is, therefore, a reference point for the internal and external players in the sector.
The website will approach technical issues involving the background to the sector, its evolution including the Dos and Don’ts despite the lack of a great deal of official documentation about the sector.
TUPSA Uganda is grateful to the Uganda Police Force for their oversight role and guidance, we look forward to your continued support and involvement in other association activities lined up because at TUPSA WE ARE ONE.
I thank you
Grace Matsiko
TUPSA Chairman.
