Cyclops Defense Systems Sponsors Uganda Private Security Symposium with UGX 5,000,000 Contribution

Cyclops Defense Systems has officially announced its sponsorship of the Uganda Private Security Symposium with a generous contribution of UGX 5,000,000. The sponsorship was handed over during a press conference held today at the Uganda Private Security Association (TUPSA) offices in Nakawa, Kampala. This event precedes the highly anticipated symposium, which will take place on 13th and 14th November 2024.

The Uganda Private Security Symposium, which brings together over 430 private security companies, policymakers, industry experts, and stakeholders, aims to enhance security management through knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the promotion of international standards. The event will provide valuable insights through key sessions focused on improving security standards and practices, leveraging technology for security management, and offering professional development through certification programs.

Speaking at the press conference, Alpha Karamaji, Managing Director of Cyclops Defense Systems, emphasized the company’s long-standing mission to drive sector growth and development. He noted that Cyclops sees this sponsorship as an opportunity to invest in the industry’s future by contributing to the professionalization and elevation of private security services in Uganda.
